Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced and passionate Science Teacher to join our team. The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of teaching experience and a strong commitment to fostering scientific curiosity and critical thinking in students. This role involves delivering engaging lessons, managing laboratory activities safely, and collaborating with colleagues to support student success.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and deliver science lessons aligned with state and national standards.
  • Conduct laboratory experiments and demonstrations while ensuring safety protocols.
  • Create and administer assessments, provide timely feedback, and track student progress.
  • Maintain a structured and respectful classroom environment.
  • Communicate effectively with parents, staff, and administrators.
  • Participate in professional development and contribute to extracurricular science activities such as clubs or fairs.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Science or Science Education (Master’s preferred).
  • Valid state teaching certification/license for secondary Science (grades 6–12).
  • Minimum of 5 years of classroom teaching experience in middle or high school.
  • Strong knowledge of scientific concepts and laboratory procedures.
  • Excellent communication, classroom management, and organizational skills.
  • Proficiency with educational technology and science-related software.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Science, Education, or STEM-related field.
  • Experience with inquiry-based learning and STEM integration.
  • Leadership experience in extracurricular science programs.
